Need Clarification for Accepting the offer from ARAMCO?

Hi everybody,
I am here for one clarification.My Hubby is a software engineer having 9 year experience got the offer from One of the saudi arabian company ARAMCO in IT department but he did not know anything about the company so we need immediet clarification for the following points to accept the offer

1.How would be the Work culture in ARAMCO surroundings?
2.What would be the Salary details offer for 9 years experience in the IT field?
3.We are having one kid ,how will be the preference given in schools for kids?
4.what would be the Probationary period if we accept the offer?
5.On accepting the offer what will be the Visa stauts for my husband and when myself and kid will get the visa for REUNION with my husband?
6.On accepting the offer on VISA processing will it possible to proceed the Medicaltest for my husband outside INDIA?(Now he is outside of INDIA)
7.Is any Play school available for my kid?
8.How can I get the driving licence there?(I am having Indian DL)
9.Regarding the accomodation how they will provide?

FYI,

1. Saudi Aramco is one of the best company in the world in O&G sector

2. that is depend on the candidate work exposure but I can say salary will be not less than us dollar 5000 per month

3.Aramco providing world's best school for thier staff kids

4.that is as per my knowledge 3 months will be your probation period.

5.visa status is depend on the qualification of the candidate if he is degree holder than he will get family status visa and family can joined the candidate after he get the work permit card (it will take around 30 days)

6. for medical test you can ask from saudi embassy or any recruitement agency about the required document for visa stamping process

7. for the schooling, medical and transport you should not worry company will take care

8. In Saudi Arabia women can't get the Driving license because driving is prohibited there for ladies

9.as per my knowledge fully furnished accomodaton will be provided in the Aramco Compound and that is the safest place in the world

1. Saudi Aramco has a very western work culture. No gender separation at work, English is the official language and most standards and business practises are Western.

2. Salary is a function of your payroll which is based on your nationality (there are five different payrolls). If you are from India you will likely be on the Asian and Other Arab (AOA) payroll. You should clarify this with your recruiter. The discrepancy between payrolls can be a point of contention.

8. You can only drive within the Aramco Community and your Indian DL is fine.





All other points are covered by your husbands grade code. Your housing, children's education and family status depend on your grade code (GC). With 9 years experience you are probably looking at GC 11 or 12. Check with your recruiter. A GC less than 11 could be a problem.

I've been with Aramco for 20++ years and it is a wonderful place to raise a family. Work can be a bit of a frustration but if it was easy, it wouldn't pay as well. Aramco offers jobs to very few applicants.

Saudi Aramco is a very good company and you don't have to worry about any of the things you've questioned except Q 8. Being a woman, you will not get a driving licence and so you can't drive.

Please advise i was interviewed by Aramco for X position and i was offered Z position,why like this...?i had been offer Grade 11 in Dhahran towers on 5/2 .How much i can negioate with Aramco regarding salary terms.How much time they kept a employee on same poisition and on same location

As per my job i have to leave Sunday evening to Tanajeb and back on thursday ( i will be spending 5 days in Tanajeb).How long this could be continue as i am bit a worried for my family and they will get bore.....some information required
